I have been a licensed acupuncturist in California since 2007. I studied at the American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in San Francisco, and completed clinical internships in hospitals in Hangzhou, China, at CPMC’s Stroke Clinic, and community settings like the Haight Ashbury Free Clinic clinic, and the Mission Neighborhood Resource Center. I’ve been providing health promoting and harm reducing services to people with HIV, active substance users, and people with mental health diagnoses for over 20 years. I believe in the power of love and self-care, and enjoy supporting people along their healing journey.
My approach is grounded in the principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine, as well as harm reduction, which takes a non-judgmental, open approach to each person and their body, mind, and spirit. I use many tools of TCM including acupuncture, moxibustion, tui na, herbal medicine, and dietary and lifestyle recommendations in my practice as well as in my own life. I love being an acupuncturist!
